Met our state advisor and he was amazing. My daughter did not expect to have COC on her list and even though it is a saftey for her it is one of her top choices.

Excellent atmosphere down town. Market street had many choices to choose from. Went to the Charleston Affair and had a ball!!!!!!!!!!!!

The campus is beautiful--set among the trees in the historic part of Charleston.

The CofC is an urban oasis where there happens to be a college. It's got some old and new architecture. It is mostly visually pleasing. Because of history you should see it... not many college campus expereinces like it in the US... sort of William and Mary of Va. look but academic requirements not as high.

When you are going to be in town, check out the College main web site to check for concerts, etc. on campus-which is right in town! One year we saw Duncan Sheik (spelling?) and this year we saw the Symphony Orchestra. Only $20 for us, $10 for students.

This school is amazing. It's also beautiful. Recommended both for tourists, locals walking at night, and potential students. Really, best days of my life happened at CofC.

I spent an awful year and a half here. The Professors didn't care about the students (too many times I was told to go the student success center for tutoring when the professr couldn't be bothered to do their job and help me!), they love to overcharge students, and the classes as over crowded.
