Charleston's best tours is one of the best attractions in Charleston. We've been on alot of ghost tours while visiting the area, and this tour was by far out favorite! The tour starts out at the Griffon, one of charleston's cultural and historic landmarks. This meetup point sets the tone for the rest of the tour. We were able to... More

A brilliant suggestion by one of our party to book this tour over Easter weekend 2012! Ambiance was perfect as we settled into darkness and riveting ghost stories with our guide, George. His storytelling is exceptional, his delivery dead perfect. Our stroll was just right in length and, above all, appropriately spooky. Though I have lived in Charleston at various... More

I really wanted to like this ghost tour. I've been on similar ghost/witch/vampire tours in Key West, Salem, and New Orleans. Usually the guides for these types of tours have a lot of personality and showmanship when they are presenting the stories. This job really is in the presentation. When I made the reservation I was told Jon would be... More

My wife and I took the ghost tour with John as our guide in October 2011. It was very fun. He did a great job combining the historical information with the spooky stuff. Our group asked him many questions trying to stump him and he knew every answer. We enjoyed the tour so much that we came back down from... More

Took a ghost tour a few months back, had Roy as a tour guide, and loved the knowledge and experience that I got to partake in while visiting friends in SC. Keep up the great work! Hope to be back soon ;)

Roy, you are a nice guy. However, your tour is bad. I don't want to hear stories about your college buddy digging up his livingroom because some "pirate" was looking for empty whiskey bottles. Seriously? Anybody could invent a story more interesting than that. "Where's my golden arm?" Also, please try to have the tour near the site about which... More

This company got my business by actually answering the phone when I called (others just rang or kicked into an answering machine). The ghost tour is as advertised, meaning more matter-of-fact and not gimicky or corny. Our guide seemed very knowledgeable and even discounted some of the legends/stories about supposed local ghosts. He also showed us some images on his... More

We went on Roys ghost tour on monday dec 25th. I had family visiting from LA Ca, we realy enjoyed the tour and the very interesting stories Roy had to tell. The tour lasted about an hour and a half and Roy was very witty and made us laugh.

We happened upon Roy's tour on Friday 11/25 at 7pm as we were out walking and so spontaneously joined without our usual research. The very best tours of any kind are those in which the guides combine legends with their historical knowledge and add some level of an entertainment factor, at minimum a bit of character or personality, particularly on... Thank you for your anecdote regarding Roy’s tour on Friday, 11/25/11. As walk-ups, you certainly got there just in time to attend the 7pm ghost tour that evening, but it’s quite possible you signed up for the wrong type of tour given your preferences. If you had a chance to visit our website, you would have seen that our stories... More

We went on this "ghost" tour on Saturday October 15, 2011 at 10 pm. The tour guide originally told us he would take us to 13 places and tell us 13 ghost stories - that didn't happen. The tour guide only took us to random alleys - that were full of other tours - and would tell us a not... More

Thank you for your feedback - I'd like to address your comments. With over 20 ghost tour companies restricted to the same 6 linear blocks per city ordinance, it is sometimes difficult to find the optimal location for initmate storytelling, especially on busy weekends. We make every effort to optimize our guests' experience, but unfortunately we must sometimes compromise for... More
