Cobblestone streets great restaurants like the Magnolia downtown, the harbors, the beautiful homes on Rainbow Row...Great hospitality. Slave Market completely renovated. So many great finds in the market place.

Would easily recommend this tour given by a guide who is not only a native Charlestonian but also someone who has written five books about the city! The tour is highly entertaining and very informative. And it's a great way to begin your visit to Charleston. Even if you've been there before, you are bound to learn something new from...

Mary Hoy's 101 Charleston is a delightfully informative 90 min walking tour-a big plus is she limits to 12 so it is easy to hear her and get around the narrow streets. Mary is a 4th generation Charlestonian, the author of several books and charming!

Our group consisted of four locals (including my husband and me) as well as a couple from Boston. We were all strongly interested and had many questions, so the tour lasted a little...
