We were a party of three (probably older than Howard's average clientele) and were treated to a thoroughly enjoyable three hours of sea, local history,some gentle ambling along the sea shore, wildlife of many sorts and informed beach-combing. SImple pleasures nicely laced together with a sense of humour. Really outstanding.

Captain Howie takes you on a trip back in time to Morris island, accessible by boat only. This island is completely uninhabited! The captain was extremely professional and knowledgeable on the history of the area and identifying shells, sharks teeth, and artifacts. This is an excellent way to spend a morning in Charleston!

Beautiful scenery, interesting history, and amazing tourguide. Captain Howie was fun, informative, and extremely personable. What a friendly guy. He also helped me propose to my fiancé, what more could you want? Shell hunting was fun. I suggest going early in the morning, there are fewer people, especially during the week.

This tour is a must-see in Charleston. This trip was by far the highlight of the trip. The history was was great, we saw dolphins on the tour, and shelling at Morris Island was a once in a lifetime experience. Thanks for making this such a great trip!
