Extremely educated tour guide! Absolutely fantastic! My husband LOVED this tour, and he's not a big fan of these kinds of things. My only complaint is that the price is a TAD higher then some of the other tours...but seeing what we got for the price I really can not complain. Michael really does an incredible job!

At our innkeeper's suggestion, we made our reservation for Michael's tour for the first morning of our four-day stay in Charleston. It was a great introduction based on his in-depth knowledge and personal history associated with this great city. The tour was very reasonable for what was gleaned from it. Take this tour-- you'll be glad you did!

I took Michael's tour on May 16. The tour's itinerary coupled with Michael's in-depth knowledge of Charleston's history was excellent. I came away with a good understanding of how the city's history shaped its current character. Equally as important, Michael's enthusiasm and personal anecdotes resulted in a pleasant experience that held my interest.

My husband and I took this tour with Michael on a Sunday morning. There were ten people, which was a good number as it was never too crowded. We saw many interesting streets, buildings, gardens etc as well as heard lots of history and stories of the different attractions. Michael speaks clearly, with lots of animation and a charming accent.... More
