Beautiful homes and the gardens are gorgeous. The water view is wonderful. So much history on every block. Worth the visit.

We enjoyed Battery park. It was so peaceful. The trees are just beautiful. And the history and landmarks were so interesting. Plus the water is right there and its very peaceful. The park is great because of everyone walking their dogs and just enjoying the day. Great place to check out!

We really enjoyed walking around The Battery. The views are great and the homes are incredible. Add in the Spanish moss, cannons and the water nearby and you have a perfect day.

All the canons and statues are fun to walk about and enjoy, as well as the magnificent gazebo and full view of the river. The park is also lined with old homes on one side.

Old charm and opulence in a beautiful and historic setting. From beautiful single family homes, dolphins jumping near the wharf, to the majestic park, The Battery and Gardens is a wonderful way to whilst away a few hours while wishing you lived there.

This area has few parking spaces lining the perimeter of the park. As the park was somewhat small and there were no flowers, we went to the sea wall. From there we saw a few interesting historic homes, three large cannons and a mortar. Looking out into Charleston Harbor we couldn't see Fort Sumter (two far off), the USS Yorktown... More

This is the 3rd time we visited this particular part of Charleston and I remember it fondly when our boys were small. Our son treated us this weekend for our 30th anniversary and we had prof. pics taken at the battery and in the park. It is lovely there. Breathtaking. I could spend the entire day there...

Very pretty park with lots of history. Loved walking along Battery St. and through the park, lots of beautiful homes and the river views are awesome.

This is a great people watching spot, nice breeze and fabulous views of the grand homes and the water.
