In 1 hr, I don't think our guide barely drew breath, he was full of enthusiasm and knowledge of his city and it's history. A great way to get a quick overview of the city and what you might like to see further.

This Charleston, SC. carriage tour company is the best! the tour guide we had was very personable and knowledgable. She made Charleston come alive to us. She was also very good at handling our horse, Barry. By the way, all the horses this company uses are Percherons from Holmes County, Ohio(Amish country). Worth every penny we paid and then some.
The tour was fun and informative ! The tour takes you to the most of the major places ,river front it is very relaxing !
We were impressed with the customer service. But the guide and horse were excellent.
We selected Classic by chance. I am certainly glad that we did. Our guide, Chris was well informed, engaging and fun. Our horse Kevin was awesome too. Would highly recommend this company. I imagine all carriage tours are only as good as the guide you draw, but this combination was a winner!
This company gives a fantastic tour and our tour guide Jason was awesome, Not only extremely knowledgable about historical facts, but colorful and engaging, and seems to generally love his touists. His guide was intersting and entertaining, and he did give us some hot tips on the local entertainment scene, which we put to good use. Stick with this tour...

My wife and I thoughly enjoyed the 1 hr. tour. Very informative, I never realized the history that happened in Charleston.
Our guide, Lindsey, was so friendly and knowledgeable about the historic district. Our horse, Jasper, was entertaining all by himself! A good way to see the historic district.
There are a lot of Carriage Ride options in Charleston but we chose Classic because one of the women in our party loves the breed of horses they use (don't remember what name is). I think all the prices are about the same around $20. We weren't disappointed with Kevin (our horse) & David (our driver). Charleston has a lottery...

There are many carriage companies in Charleston but I cannot imagine any better than this one. Our driver, Todd, was fabulous. He told great stories and pieces of history with elegant southern charm plus lovely drawl. It was one of our favorite hours in Charleston. And especially important is the company's green policy and caring treatment of the horses. Thank...
