Along with the Robert Mills home, it is great at christmas. They have a special tour during the holidays and depict how they lived back then in period costumes.

This house was built in 1818. It is magnificent! This house as been used as a Union Army Headquarters, 2 different women's college,and even a convent for Ursaline nuns! The appointments in each room we toured were beautiful and many pieces are original to the previous owners. There is even a room made to look like the dorm room when...

This house is ran by the same people that are in charge of the Robert Mills House. Call before you go if you only want to tour one because they only do one tour at a time. We wanted to tour the Mills house but we had to wait over an hour for that tour so we toured the Hampton-Preston....
