Rated as one of the most beautiful State Capitol buildings in the United States, the South Carolina State House is indeed something special. After going through security, tours are available on the hour Monday to Friday from 9am-5pm, Saturday from 10am-4pm, and the first Sunday of the month from 1pm-4pm, while no tours are available on holidays. The South Carolina Statehouse is an impressive complex well worth a visit. First the grounds are always well maintained and have some very impressive gardens. Additionally the Statehouse ground have several interesting statues and memorials.
