We just returned from edisto Island state park. This was our second time staying here. The place is so nice. The beach was uncrowded and campground itself is perfect. My family travels down to Edisto Island State Park a few times a year (for day trips), and usually spend a week there every other year. We love the Edisto Beach State Park. We go camping there at least one week every year. It's our favorite place to camp. We loved it so much that we had to buy a house there and become an edistonian. The town is small and everyone knows each other. there are great historic tours and lots to do here. I would say that I will NEVER go to myrtle beach again, charleston is 35min away, what more could you ask for!!!!!Young and old... more

This is the only vacation spot we have found that we actually relax and return home renewed. There are plenty of restaraunts, less than 10, and you never have to wait in lines...for anything. No traffic, no neon lights, no crowds. Serene, peaceful, beautiful. My favorite spot in the world! more

we loved the beach. we had a great time. the only thing we found wrong was there were not enoght places to have a meal. other than that i would tell all my friends about edisto beach state park. maybe they can enjoy it to. thank you more
