I've lived in Greenville for almost 10 years and have visited all of the Table 301 restaurants but after a better appreciation for this great city and our restaurants after the tour. What a fun night out with friends! And I would definitely suggest this for newcomers or visitors. A great way to see a little bit of what our... More

My wife and I experienced John Nolan's culinary tour this past Tuesday evening and I'll have to say it was a fabulous time. We had no idea what to expect, but every part of the tour was delightful. We were so impressed with the chefs we met, with John's mini-history-of-Greenville tour, with the food we sampled and with the people... More

I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves great food and the history of Greenville. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Greenville through John's eyes. He pointed out things we had never seen before, even though we live in Greenville. We also enjoyed getting to meet all of the Table 301 chefs, hearing their stories, and seeing... More

My husband and I were given tickets to the Greenville Culinary tour. We had heard that it was an awesome experience combining great dining and a little history of downtown Greenville. The food was better than I had hoped for. Each chef came and talked about his/her dish that he had prepared for the tour and also about his individual... More

My brother and I took the tour together. It was a great experience we would like to have again. Great to take an out of town guest to. We loved the food and all of the hostorical information that John provided. Really loved hearing from the chefs as to their personal experiences and love for food. We will do it... More

What a wonderful experience this is always. This was my 4th time to go and each time has been a little different. You experience the Table 301 restaurants and the chefs come to your table to describe what they have prepared for you to sample. John Nolan, guide and owner, is very personable and easy to be with. He is... More

What a fun way to end a busy day of SCASL conference sessions! 20 of us school librarians wined and dined with host and Greenville history expert, John Nolan. The restaurant visits were top-notch and the history information a bonus! The next night three of us dined at Nose Dive, one of the featured restaurants. The wait staff recognized us... More

20 of us attending a conference in Greenville spent a delightful evening with John Nolan on his culinary tour of 5 unique restaurants. We watched shrimp and grits being prepared by the Table 301 chef at The Loft, and then enjoyed eating our generous portion with a lovely glass of Oregon Pinot Noir. Next was Devereaux, then Nose Dive, including... More

Wonderful culinary tour with an interesting dash of history on the side. Unlike some other culinary tours, participants had extended opportunities to interact with the chefs at the five visited restaurants. John, our tour leader, was very knowledgeable both about food and the history of Greenville.

We brought a business group from Montgomery to learn more about Greenville's downtown revitalization. This tour provided a perfect (and very tasty) overview. We give it the highest of recommendations!
