It it great ...love the building, there's alot to see ...and its a fun and interesting way to spend a few hours !!!
The Antiques, Fine Art & Design Weekend was happening while I was there, so I enjoyed chatting with dealers and looking at their displays. The galleries held an eclectic mix of paintings, pop-up book art, and Andrew Wyeth's work. My favorite exhibit was on David Drake, the nineteenth-century slave potter and poet.
The museum is laid out well and it is also manageable. By that I mean you can visit in a day and leave satisfied. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Parking is available and although a bit of a walk the museum is not far from Main Street.

This should be on anyone visiting Greenvilles "to do" list while there. Nice museum as museums go. I was pleasantly surprised.
