Pony rides and interaction with Cali. (their deer) was worth a million words on our sons face. We are not big horse people but this was perfect to take our son and spend a few hours.

Trail rides for the older "kids" and pony rides for the little ones. And, you get to feed the goats, pigs, deer and other animals.

We always give to the donation box, but it is a free petting zoo. With a good variety of critters including a very sweet deer that is happy to lick the salt off your hands. All the goats,lambs,horses... were friendly. Wander around with no pressure from the staff. One of our mandatory stops on our vacation in Hilton Head.

we went to the stables just to walk thru the petting zoo which is free. We also got to walk around and see all the horses. This was a great way to spend an hour or two and our daughter loved it (she is almost 2 yrs old)

They gave a really nice pony ride for both of my kids. There's also a small petting zoo kind of a thing where you can see pigs and chicks, goats and a deer. It's a fun stop for the day and gets the kids excited. Especially nice if you're already staying on Sea Pines.

We always stop to do a quick walk though the free petting farm with ou two young boys. Takes about 10 minutes and boys like seeing pigs,gots,sheep,bunnies,chickens,horses and deer.

My wife and I went for the trail ride. We've been on 2 other trail rides (Hawaii and Wyoming), and this was surprisingly nice...possibly even the best. The petting zoo is nice with lots of animals including a deer the kids can pet. The pony ride was fun for my daughter. The staff was very friendly.

We have been to Lawton Stables of couple of times now and taken the trail ride. My family had an excellent time on each occasion. The people are very nice, helpful ad patient.
