We have tried the Crabber J before and enjoyed it, but this last time the crab were few and far between and the captain spent his time having a smoke. If you are going to go with young children be sure that you go at low tide otherwise the kids have to reel a lot to bring the crab up....

I'm a regular to HHI and have been crabbing 3 times with Crabber J. Slightly pricey but loads of fun bringing up the crabs. 2 of 3 times caught a plenty of crab (which you don't get to keep) and the other time just a couple. So it's a little hit and miss. You may see some dolphin on trip...
