The earlier reviewer was not correct; you DO NOT have to enter Sea Pines to get into Coligny Beach- they must have been thinking of South Beach. Coligny is directly across from Coligny Shopping Plaza and next to other beach shops/restaurants (HInchey's is great) with free, public access to the beach. Beautiful entry, clean restrooms. This is a great beach, but you have to get into Sea Pines plantation. If you go at low tide there's a good chance you'll see dolphins up close. more
