Could not check in early, but when we did, we were very excited with the room. Had a 3 bedroom condo that was huge, new, beautiful and had everything we needed. Bathrooms like a spa, plenty of TV's, Huge balcony overlooking wonderful pool and waterway, just beautiful rooms. The resort grounds were not exciting, the pool was lovely but the... more

The pre show in the theater is so worth the money but the ghost walk through the "swamp" which is nothing more than crossing the boardwalk while they tell you a couple ghost stories is not worth the extra expense. I would however recommend the theater show ( I have seen it twice). more

Save your money, went there today (July 21, 2008) there were vendors outside like at a carnival...wanted $5 to throw plastic frogs in a pond to win a stuffed animal, ride for $2 on a merry go round, and $5 to "ride a bull". At the candy shop, it was $1.98 for 1/4 lb. The toy and leather shops were... more

Was at barefoot landing mid July--love the place. Interesting shops good restaurants etc. But, DO NOT get the ice cream at kohrs. While the ice cream it self is very good, it cost us $49+ for 8 cones! That was just cones or cups -- one scoop. I guess I should have been wary because there are NO PRICES listed... more

I love Barefoot Landing! There are so many different stores, I could have stayed there all day. I know there has been debates over which is better between Broadway at the Beach and Barefoot Landing, and usually BATB wins out, but personally I liked Barefoot Landing better. BATB is definitely more glamorous, but I liked the selection of shops at... more

Great atmosphere! We loved the tigers, it was a little pricey ($70) to have your pic taken with the tiger cubs,so we enjoyed the adult tigers interacting with each other. That was free, but they dont come until 5pm and leave at 9pm. The mirror maze was so fun! My husband, kids, mom, sister and I loved it. Its only $8 and its... more

Barefoot itself wasn't great, not bad, but nothing spactacular (especially not after going to Broadway) however, we visited the TIGER Preserve and that was awesome! They have a location at Barefoot landing where you can have your picture taken w/ a baby cub, but we did the actual tour. Their location is about 20 miles south of Myrtle, but since... more

The shops are pricy and not the exciting. There are better places to shop in Myrtle Beach that aren't so overpriced. I would skip Barefoot Landing and head for the beach if I was you. more

Been to Myrtle Beach the past seven years. The first stop on the list is always at Barefoot Landing. Cant miss the general store, great gifts, collectibles, and of course glass bottle drinks for a dollar, yummy! Even if you dont want to shop or your budget wont allow it, don't worry. Just walk through the complex and enjoy the... more

We went here this past September when we were in Myrtle Beach. The shopping and food are great! It's a fun idea for a family looking for something to do in the evening. It's also cute, you get to feed the fish and birds (including a couple BEAUTIFUL Swans.) There are a lot of cute photo opps here as well. more
