Best thing was the central location - an hour's trip will take you to some of the best places to visit in the Southeast. We go here every year and love it! It is very peaceful and we love the indoor and outdoor pools. We have made day trips to Helen, Ga, Greenville,SC, been to the mountains ect. If you enjoy peace and quite then this place is for you. It is a good drive to get to anything, so bring what you need with you. The villas are in bad need of updating and a deep cleaning. There are not a lot of amenities and what are there close by 8:00pm.

The unit we were in was so so. The bedrooms were freezing cold with the A/C and the upstairs living room and kitceh area were hot. The deck was in need of repair and painting. The cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms were very old and ugly. The ceiling fan look liked it hadn't been clearned in ages.

A lot of people are complaining about the distance to do things, but it is in the central of basically everthing. Sure it takes 20 minutes to 1 hour here and there, but it is nice to come back to.
