We needed a rest stop and were pleasantly surprised when we stopped at the Keelboat Center overlooking the Missouri River in Chamberlain. The Lewis and Clark exhibit was quite fascinating!

When driving through Chamberlain, make sure to stop at the visitor center/traveler's information center here. Nice views of the river and valley. Also a few paths you can walk around on. The visitor center has a very nice Lewis and Clark exhibit (they camped here, I believe on the way out as well as back). There's a big picnic area;... More
