Our experience at Chamberlain has been nothing but very pleasant. It is a very beautiful and serence place to visit. It lies on the Missouri River where there are several fun things to do. Our favorite thing to do is to visit the PowWow at the St Joseph Indian School (which is also the home of the Atka Lakota Museum).... more

The St. Joseph's Indian School is a boarding school that serves Native American youth from around the state of South Dakota. The Akta Lakota Museum is on the school's campus. The Museum focuses on Native American culture and arts and has a fine gift shop. The outside of the museum is adorned with portraits of historical Lakota (Sioux) leaders. Also... more
