l really enjoyed Crazy Horse l spent the whole day there, for me it was more enjoyable than Mount Rushmore. I did not mind the price and l was treated really well. I really enjoyed the whole place and would recommend it and l will return next year Elaine Northampton England.you should all be proud of Crazy Horse Memorial more

Okay, this thing is controversial, with disagreement about it within the Lakota community. But the point of a tourist web site like this one should be evaluating the attraction itself. In that regard, this is a must. The admission is not really to see the monument, which you can view fairly clearly from the road. It is really for an... more

The reason the monument is not finished is because the family pockets the money raised. There has not been any work done on Crazy Horse in years. They have 9 family members on the payroll. It is an embarrassment to the local community and to Crazy Horse the warrior. Sixty years since its completion and it’s not even half done.... more

At nine dollars per person, I was skeptical about touring the Crazy Horse Memorial. That much money to see yet another gargantuan mountain carving, this one not even finished? Besides, you can view the thing from the road. I still don’t know why we actually paid the admission and entered, but we were glad we did, because the monument itself... more

Buyers beware: This is the definition of a tourist trap! There is no possible way you can get your money's worth out of this! For the hefty price of $10 per adult, you get to see the incomplete sculpture, admission to the overpriced visitor center where you see a short film about the project and some indian artifacts, not to... more

In our visit to South Dakota I would have to say this was the most disappointing thing we did. This memorial has been worked worked on for 60 years yet all that is completed is the face. This does not prevent the owners from changing an admition fee of $10 per adult, and an extra $4 per adult if you... more

Okay, so we went after going to jewel cave and there wasn't much time to do anything else... serious rip-off. first of all, entrance was $20 just to get in. We were expecting at least to get to the base of the stature like mt. rushmore, but that was extra $ to get on a bus to take you 300... more

I visited the memorial as a child, so was interested in seeing the progress on our trip to the area. My mother had also visited when she was young, so that tells you how long the process is taking! However, when I visited last the face was only roughed out, and this time it was complete, so that was neat... more

When planning a trip to the Black Hills area with my children this was one place we all agreed on seeing. For me it was to revisit after 20 years. I certainly wasn't disappointed. There were so many changes to the mountain. There were demonstrations of native dance going on, artisans demonstrating bead work, and trips closer to the mountain.... more

We went to Crazy Horse with some caution after reading some poor reviews on Trip Advisor especially in light of the cost. So many of the other sites in Black Hills have lower admission fees. To say, we're glad we stopped for this attraction is an understatement. First let me say, you have to keep in mind, this is a... more
