This place surprised me as there was absolutely NO boredom (like there usually is on anything educational) all 3 of us absolutely enjoyed it here. There was a lot of hands on and interesting things here- our favorite was the archeodome. Inside there was an active dig which was interesting to look at. There was a sorting station to sort... more

My kids, 6 and 8 really enjoyed the museaum but especially the outdoor activities. They learned about prehistoric indian life and found arrowheads in a pretend dig. The hole family enjoyed it. They are located right on lake mitchell which is beautiful and they have a nice picnic area too. more
