I agree with the other reviews here on the excellent design and content of this museum. Having grown up in the area, I've had a number of questions about the local rock formations. I spent almost two hours just studying everything in the geology section and it was tremendously informative. The Native American section was very well done. I especially... more

My children and I were beating the heat and attended this museum. Lots of information about the area is held at this location. We really enjoyed the information film that begins your tour. The helpers at the museum help answer your questions. It covered all aspects of the Black Hills. Two Thumbs Up. more

While attempting to escape the heat of an uncharacteristically warm day in Rapid City, we decided to visit the Journey museum. I wasn't expecting much, but I was extremely impressed.
