I guess I'm in the minority, but I didn't think this was that great. Little kids might find the alligator show and snakes on display interesting, but I doubt that most teenagers would (mine didn't). In fairness, I will say that getting up close to the giant tortoises was pretty cool more

Reptile Gardens is a fabulous attraction for the entire family. The park isn't large, but many of the animals are. Being from Florida, I didn't expect to be impressed by the alligators, but I was - - I have never seen such a collection of reptiles in any zoo or animal oriented attraction. We saw the snake and alligator shows... more

My family and I visited in June 2008. We loved it!!!!!! The only part that was not enjoyed was the "spinning safari". It was a 2 dollar admission (so 10 dollars for my family) and it was really not worth that. more

Very easy to find. They have everything from alligators to spiders to giant tortoises. The only thing I can say is that it's a great place for kids for run around and look at their favorite reptiles/animals. We also watched the snake, reptile, and the bird show. They were all great but mostly educational and not solely entertainment. Their gift... more

My extended family and I, ages ranging from 2-60, spent 3 hours at Reptile Gardens in June of 2008. We sat through both the Snake and Alligator shows which each take about an hour. They were quite entertaining. The food and refreshments that were available weren't too overpriced. I recommend the ice cream as you will be very surprised how... more

I love this place! First, as you’re walking in, there’s a sign stating “Leashed Pets Welcome.” After a quick run to the car for the traveling terrier, we headed to the snake presentation. We got there late to find a room full of young (and very well-behaved) school children fascinated by the man with the snake. He answered every question... more

Reptile Gardens has perhaps the largest snake (species) collection in the States. Not only is there a huge snake collections, but there is a alligator pit filled with dozens of gators and crocs. There are GIANT tortoises that you can actually pet/touch. Kids will love this place. Plan to spend around 4 hours here. Don't miss the alligator show (among... more

I hadn't visited the Reptile Gardens in almost ten years, and I was concerned about how it might have changed. (I worked there when I was in college.) But our recent visit was wonderful -- they just continue to upgrade and improve (it has been in the same family for 75 years). My husband isn't exactly afraid of snakes, but... more

My 10 year old son saw the sign for this place and we parents relented. We were glad we did. Surprisingly good attraction, with snake demonstrations, gold panning, 125 year old tortoises you can pet, pythons you can put around your neck, alligator show, and plenty of animals to see. I was pleasantly surprised by this place. It cost $47,... more
