If you have kids, this is a must! There are many themes based on movies, cartoons, and old nursery rhymes. Themes vary from Pooh to Little Mermaid. My kids loved learning all the old nursery rhymes before and singing them on the way to the Dakotas. To see the rhymes and movie characters in reality, WOW! My kids were estatic.... more

We love storybook island! I remember going here as a kid and now we take our kids whenever we get back to Rapid City. The Current Storybook Island which I had a change to visit with my small kinfolk at Christmas last year is located just off of Jackson Blvd. heading toward Canyon Lake. This park is great for kids and should be seen as an excellent if they are still young, for older kids who are trying to prove that they are older will not appreciate the park. more
