I am an airplane 'nut' so this was on my must-visit list whilst in the area on vacation. Unfortunately I only had an hour at the museum but the external collection of aircraft is varied with everything from WW2 era prop aircraft to the mighty B-1 and B-52 bombers. Let me first say that I can understand some of the comments voiced by the previous visitor but for those of you interested in military exhibits I think you would find your visit worthwhile. This was barely worth our time to stop by and see. I hate to say that since I love Ellsworth AFB and the Black Hills of SD since I grew up there. However, this museum needs much improvement. I go here once every two years when we are back in town for vacation. This used to be a great museum... more
