The cave tour was fun for all ages in our group. However do know that it cannot accomodate a wheelchair or walker. The tour was just long enough culminating with the falls at the end. Our tourguide was informative and funny. I would not travel more than 2 hours driving time for this attraction but under two hours it is... more

I would say this was worth seeing but not the best cave I have ever been in. If you are in the area I would check it out but not worth going cross country to see. Cathedrial Cavers in Alabama has much more to see inside. more

Ruby Falls is a tourist attraction; it’s really touristy. Driving around the southeast, we saw signs for Ruby Falls for a couple hours in all directions toward Chattanooga. The cave and falls are spectacular and really pretty. However, the tour group was really big; and I felt like we were being led around in the cave like a bunch of... more

I´ve been seeing signs for Ruby Falls every summer I visited the South since I was a kid and finally decided to go. We went with our two and five year old duaghters. It was a bit much for the two year old, but my five year old enjoyed it. The was only a 5 minute wait to go down... more

Visited Saturday July 26,2008 @8:00pm --All inside lighting was turned off.......lanterns (flashlights) were only source of illumination. --Tour was entertaining and informative. Bill, our tour guide, was a great host...very amiable, knowledgeable, excellent speaker AND a spelunker to boot. --Only one group of 20 in cave during Lantern Tours. My husband and 7 year old slso enjoyed our visit to... more

I took my 6.5 year old down & he loved it. The 3 year old played on the playground outside. He did not want to go into the cave & I am glad that he did not. The adventure is about a 1 mile round trip hike & I believe that it is a little spooky for kids. I did... more

I took the Ruby Falls tour with two other adults and three children under the age of six. Everyone in my party loved this tour. The five year old found this attraction to be her favorite on our week long vacation. They display the falls in such a beautiful manner. The children enjoyed using their imaginations to view the various... more

Ruby Falls is much advertised but is not worth the time or money. The groups were large and the spaces were small. At times in the cave we were told to hug the walls as other groups passed by us. During which time you are not only getting wet and dirty on the cave wall, but you can't see anything... more

I thoroughly enjoyed the trip to Ruby Falls, but I have one tip for potential visitors. Avoid peak times. If you go early or late, you can walk right up and trek down to the falls. We went at the busiest time for the day on the busiest day of the year. Although the staff did a great job, there... more

I must say this was one of my favorite attractions while spending time in Tennessee. The tour was very imformative and also very funny. The comedy aspect depends on who your tour guide is. This is definitely recommended to everybody! more
