The aquarium itself is divided into two buildings - river and ocean. It took us about 4 hours to get through both sections, and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of animals they had. more

We have seen the best the Japanese can offer in Osaka-and that is very impressive acquarium, and Orlando's Seaworld has some very good aquarium features BUT this place is first class. Highlights were the whole floor devoted the pipefish/seadragons, an incredible display; and the Butterfly exhibit, with 100s of butterflies flying around us. Needs whole day! more
