This was another favorite of our trip and a definite must see!! Now getting here was another story. We must have picked the most curvy, twisty way to get there. By the time we made it there, both of our kids and me were a little carsick and had to take a minute or two in the fresh air on... more

My husband and I took our two and five year old girls and had a really good time. We were in no hurry and just wandered around and admired the views from the top. Everything is marked and they give you a map ( even then I was a little confused- though my hubby says that´s because I have no... more

Even though this place has a lot of tourist kitsch, the natural beauty of this place is still something that everyone should see a least once. We also enjoyed the Raptor show. more

We spent a couple hours at Rock City and we were surprised how easily we spent that time there. The walk was gorgeous. The foliage looked so nice. The trees and plants are nicely marked with their names. I really liked that. Of course it's nicely shaded and the path turns & twists. As you get out towards the cliff... more

My husband and I took our two daughters, ages 3 and 2, to Rock City. Our 3-year-old loved it, but our younger daughter was scared of the cave-like places where it was dark. My husband ended up taking her out while my older daughter and I looked at all the fairy tales. We all enjoyed the beautiful flowers and breath-taking... more

Rock City would be a great spot for kids because there are lots of interesting things to climb and fit through and it's not that intense of a climb. There are plenty of steps, bridges to cross, caves to climb into and narrow passages to fit through so make sure your party is up to that. At the top, you... more

Great place to visit. The lookout point is nice and you get to view 7 states. The swinging bridge is fun and so is 'Fat Man Squeeze'! Nice outdoor place. Nice little trail between the Rocks. Not to miss if you come to Chattanooga. more

I really like rock city. It was do at your own pace. Not rushed, you had all the time in world to walk through. See seven states, that was interesting! The lovers leap, a great story. Some tight spaces to squeeze through! But even with kids, it was a great time. I would absolutely go again! The climb up the... more

Knowing what I know about tourist attractions, and after reading the reviews here and other places, Ruby Falls was better than I expected. The views alone are worth the price of admission. The signs to the attraction were easy to follow, and parking was convenient. The ticket thing is a bit of a mystery. Like the Incline Railroad, it seems... more

Rock City was established by the same guy that kicked off the miniature golf business in the US. The location is very beautiful, but the owner has gone in and turned it into a hilibilly art project. The great rock formations, views, and paths are full of yard gnome statutes, broken pieces of crystal applied to the sides of rocks... more
