I absolutely love the Art District. Tony's is some of the best Italian I've had and Rembrandt's has the best dessert. I love walking around here-the ambiance is beautiful and the prices are reasonable. Definitely stop here on any trip to Chattanooga! more

Disappointed. Yes, the views are great. Always find public art interesting. We kept wandering around wondering what the big deal was. Some B&Bs (didn't stay there) and a few restaurants. One nice coffee shop, two museums and an absurdly expensive art gallery. more

I agree with the other reviewers about this area - it's high above Chattanooga so has a good view of the river and bridges etc. I'm not really that into art, but even I thought that the Hunter Museum looked interesting and the sculptures dotted here and there were great. I ate at Tony's Pasta house and had a very delicious traditional lasagna. The next day I returned to the Bluff View Art District and had some treats at the coffee house and I love going there. This complex of old homes and museums is a jewel. Two very good restaurants. A coffee house with delicious pastries made in house. Wonderful shop selling original artwork. The outstanding Hunter Museum is adjacent. A bed and breakfast. Sculpture garden. This is a must see in Chattanooga. more
