A great walking bridge with a fanstasic view of the river, downtown and Coolidge Park. Connecting downtown Chattanooga to the North Shore, the bridge adds one more dimension to the Tennessee Riverpark. Saving this bridge after it was closed to auto traffic was a good move.

This bridge was fantastic! It offered great views and took you right to Coolidge Park from the Art district of Chattanooga. This bridge is pet, bike, walking, & running friendly! If you have small children that have to walk I wouldnt necessarily suggest a walk on this bridge as it is VERY long but if you do have children Coolidge... More

Great addition to the city. Watch river traffic, visit parks on both sides of the river, or just sit and enjoy the day.

The bridge is part of the Chattanooga Ghost Tour and you get to know a good bit about the history of the bridge.

The view of the river from the bridge is a good photo opportunity. It's a nice walk with plenty of space for others also. Only downfall is the smell around some areas.

This bridge is awesome. Quite a long walk but very interesting for people watching day and night. Great views of the river and park. Lots of interesting cafes and restaurants on both sides. Very pleasant traffic free way to get across Chattanooga

Walked the bridge many times during our visit. Beautiful views of river and downtown. Nice to not share a bridge with the car traffic. Benches are located on the bridge for resting or to sit and relax. Stayed on the city side and the bridge made it convenient to walk to the north side area which has quaint shops, eateries... More

I always bring out-of-towners to visit the bridge and all of the attractions and shops on both sides of the river. It truly has been a bridge over troubled waters. A great place to sit, think and unwind. You won't be disappointed!
