Do not support the cruelty that each of these horses endures in this show. Please research what happens to obtain this un natural gate. Hard to believe that this is acceptable in this era. So very sad. Check out ABC under cover story about this industry. Shame on the organizers and judges for encouraging this animal abuse. I am sickened.

this is the venue to come to. You really get the "old time" feel at this great annual event. And it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

I don't know a lot about horses but I love the showmanship of the walking horse. Also the farms in the area are something to see.

If you want to see many, many beautiful horses in peak condition, performing at their peak, make a point to see the Celebration! It is held in Shelbyville, Tennessee, 14 days before labor day. The culmination is the last class on Saturday when the name the World Grand Champion! All the lights in the stadium in turned off. A spot... More

40,000 fans on a Saturday night in late August - the stadium lights off and one spotlight zeroes in on one stallion as he is crowned World Grand Champion. The spotlight follows him as he takes his victory pass. A THRILL. This horse show will even impress the non-horse lover.
