You can park right outside and then walk over to the Carter House...if not, then you have to walk a ways past the Carter House to the Lotz and then back...they are across the street but Carter's visitor center and parking is about a block away and in the summer, that's a long ways. We had a very interesting tour led by Ellen, who did a fantastic job and must have a great memory. I had read previous reviews about how great a guide J.T. was before visiting, but Ellen did not disappoint. The furnishings, etc. were as interesting as the house itself.

Very interesting property. Our tour guide, TJ, really made the history of the house come alive. Well worth the time.
