Great place to take the family for the day or for the week. It has good fishing, hiking, nature trails, and good food too! Great price for the all the family to enjoy!

A nice, well-kept TN park. It has nice trails for leisure hikes and cabins for rent, as well as the horse trails

Lots of trails. Fun adventures with a group in the group bulding. I love the walkway through the lake. Very serene.

We just stayed a week at the Chickasaw State Park. The cottages were clean and well kept. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the park was very well maintained. We had dinner at the lodge one night while we were there and the food was terrific. The only problem was we showed up Monday and the restaurant did... More

Just got back from a night at Chickasaw. The camping facilities are pretty nice. Each site has a fire pit, a grill, a table, and a parking place. Don't quote me that EVERY site has a parking place, but most that I saw did. There were spigots every 20 yards or so. Our site was right near the lake, so... More

I grew up in Henderson, Tennessee and camped at Chickasaw State Park the last 6 weeks that I lived in town after we sold our house. Now living in Oregon, I miss the whole area. Chickasaw was where I caught my first Bass, which actually made the papers! The first time I ever road a horse was at the stables... More

The cabins are nothing fancy but are very clean inside and very suitable for a 2 or 3 night getaway. We have reservations for... More

Where else can you have a beautiful drive for 1 hr. and end up at an even more beautiul place with great trails and excellent service and accomodatioins in a rustic environment. Lois and Doris will take great care of you from the front desk, and be sure not to miss "Christmas Lights" second weekend every December. It is free... More

When you have a state park located next to a state forest, you know you’re in for some excellent hiking and horseback riding. CSPF has your standard amenities (and a restaurant). There is no inn, but visitors have a choice in tent/RV camping or staying in one of the lakeside cabins. Some might be disappointed that it’s not a 5... More
