My father and I went to River Islands expecting a relaxing but challenging day of golf. What we experienced was aweful. The recommended pace of play was 4.5 hours. We finished nine holes in 2.5 hours, AS A TWO-SOME. We waited on every single hole and every single shot. No one would let us play through. On top of that,... more

River Islands Course is beautiful. You can hardly play serious golf for looking at the scenery. The course is very lady friendly, but at the same time challenging. It also is in very good shape. The greens keepers and maintenance crews are doing a very good job. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we played it again during our vacation.... more

River Islands is a nice course, but it is most definitely not a $55.00 golf course. With all the other fine golf courses in this area, it is very over priced. Apparently they believe their press releases and public hype. more
