I visited the Moone High Cross Inn in June of 2008. I had decided not to stay at another accomodation that I had previously booked and elected to drive closer to Dublin since I was nearing the end of my trip. I saw the sign for the inn on the road and took a chance. It was a great place... more

A fantastic family run country pub with great food and wonderful, creamy pints of Guinness. My brother reckons their steak is the best he's ever tasted. Staff are incredibly friendly. They also do accommodation, so if you don't want to leave, you can sit by the fire and stumble upstairs and sleep it off. An old-school inn that's well worth... more
