I visited Tayto Park with wife and two kids during a fabulous heatwave being experienced here in Ireland. First thing that strikes you is the place is spotlessly clean and very well maintained. There are lots of friendly staff on duty to cater for school groups and families with young kids. €12 in seems to be fair enough for the... More

Tayto park is a great day out for all the family but whatever you do, dont get a caricature done in the teepees. My husband had one done with one of my daughters and it was really just sooo poor. It cost 30 EURO!!!! I couldn't identify anything about them in it at all. Just 2 random people.... And my... More

Definitely bring your children here, we visited here and thought it was better than the Zoo. Really good value, very well kept. Lovely staff. The children and us had a ball. We would advise to go early and make a day of it. Shop prices are okish and the skyline attractions are extra, can add up if you have a... More

Tayto is a great day out for the family. My kids are quite young so other than the extra €2 (per child) fee for the pony ride we didn't have to worry about having to pay extra for the some of the other activities e.g. rock climbing, rodeo ride I can imagine that with older kids you could end up... The park is well laid out with a lovely welcoming atmosphere, however I was disappointed that we paid €50 entrance fee only to be charged €2 x 3 children =(€6) for every activity inside. I would have assumed that the admittance fee would include some of the activities inside. It proved to be an expensive family day out and a... More

Drove 60 kilometres to pay €40 to let our two boys 4 & 8 play on a very large climbing frame then visit a mediocre pet farm with a couple of endangered species of big cat! (what a miserable way for a species to go extinct!). There is nothing for parents to do to justify the €10 per head so... More

Visited Tayto Park during the Easter break with a group of friends and lots of children ranging from 7 - 12. Tayto Park is an ideal place to visit for this age group and there was lots for them to do. When you go in the area to your right hand side is where most of the attractions with an... More
