The castle has a dressing up room for kids and they are allowed to wear the costumes during your visit around the castle. The place is full of lots of hidden rooms and passage ways, so loads to explore. more

This is one of the loveliest and interesting castles I have ever visited..apparently, according to the guides, most folk do not find all its treasures, so ask on arrival about these places. Situated in lovely Gorey, this is a must-visit castle. more

This really is a "proper" castle, perched on cliffs with dramatic, panoramic views and loads of interesting nooks and crannies to explore. Absolutely beautiful, dramatic and atmospheric. You could almost hear the clank of armour and cries of battle. Fantastic. more

What a lovely castle. We visited on a clear day and the views were amazing. The only downside is that it is quite a lot of steep rises and steps to navigate, but not too much of a problem for most people.
