Like Elizabeth Castle, I was amazed at just how much of the castle was open to visitors. The castle itself is in a very prominent position and offers great views over the bay. We spent nearly 2 hours walking around and taking photos - there is a lot to see!

I enjoyed seeing some of the quirky art - great photo opportunities and quite atmospheric. Plenty to see both inside and outside in the grounds.

Not only is the castle an iconic "postcard" scene as it stands out across the Jersey skyline, you can get some fantastic views of the island when you're up there. It's been renovated over the past few years and so lovely to see without the scaffolding in place.

A really great place! Labrynthine stairways, rooms, towers, courtyards and more, with some great displays - including a holograph of the Queen, weapons, coins, life-size model soldiers and more. You're free to roam without being herded around or restricted. Great for kids but not for those with disabilities. Needs at least two hours and you can eat in the harbour... More

A warren of passageways and rooms make up this castle. There are many cameos in rooms throughout the castle. A fine view fom the top. Not a place for those with mobility difficulties. We felt it was rather expensive for what it was.

The castle is very interesting and its worth the climb for the views it offers of the island and if the weather is right of the French coast and other islands that surround it. Gorey has many places to eat and drink and shop.
