Specialises in breeding and preservation of endangered species and wherever possible re-introduction to the wild. They have managed to save many species of animals that otherwise would probably have become extinct. Do not expect to see lions, elephants, giraffes etc. This is not your normal type of zoo.

Don't think of this as a zoo, it really isn't. The animlals are well cared for and look happy, the saff are knowledgable and are around to talk to. there are plenty of attractions for the children and it's easy access. We had a great morning there.

We went here on the 14th may 2012 We were very disapointed at what greeted us. Over grown cages, empty enclosures and sleeping areas etc. I wanted to see the gorrillas but they were no where to be seen except one that was asleep? I walked alround the enclosure and looked in the sleep area but no sign of any.No sight... More

As it was raining when we went, we didn't see the park in its best light but the highlight was definitely the gorillas. we got to see them really close up as they were inside due to the weather, awesome. It is very relaxed place and it's a nice walk with the animals in a natural setting with a lot... More

In spite of Jersey's normally great weather, we visited on a day of heavy rain. Whilst a sunny day would have been more pleasant, there are quite a few shelters where you can view the animals and since most of them were also unimpressed with the weather, they stayed indoors where you can get a better and much closer view.... Very nice place. Good to keep kids occupied. Child friendly eating. Lots of different animals and the whole place is a lot bigger than expected.

This is a large park which is not very user friendly with paths/access, especially for the less able. There are too many empty areas and refurbishments. There seemed a lot of repetions of animals atleast 3 areas of Lemurs for example. All the cages/areas we looked in had few animals and most were in their houses. Animals dont perform to... More

Make the effort to go hear! This is a great day out for all the family and very informative if you follow the guides around. "Wildlife Park" is a bit decieving as the sole aim is for Conservation hence most of the animals you see are endangered to some degree. Highlights include Gorillas, Orangutans and huge Fruit Bats. We recently visited and on the whole enjoyed our tine here. Admission is quite expensive and although some people say they have spent the day here if you are child free about 90 minutes is more realistic. Food is also dear but just take a picnic. The highlight really is the gorillas though and well designed internal and external enclosures... More
