I live in the town but not my home town, the Butterfly part is ok ! But all this seems to be expensive for a family. The Otter viewing section is a pool of water as you can see . Just a bit of mud and water

Small but well worth a visit. My Partner and I visited - butterfly farm very good, turtles in the pond, otters were worth a visit. We only stayed an hour £8 entrance but goes towards conservation. We went early on a Saturday and it was very quiet.

It cost £8.25 each (adults) to get into this place and the entrance isn't impressive so I was a bit dubious but I had a thoroughly enjoyable time there and would go again at the drop of a hat. There were some fantastically beautiful butterflies in the hot house which you could watch emerging from their cocoons and lots of... More

It was good and the otters were cute. However I was a bit grossed out at what they were eating! But I suppose its just nature!!

Great place to visit on a rainy day. The temperature in the butterfly farm is tropical and reminds me of getting off a plane in the middle east! Try to go mid afternoon so you catch the otters at feeding time.
