River Ex so busy, lots to see, great boat trips on offer
A beautiful walk along the Exe to see the many swans and wildlife a peaceful place to walk the kids or just take the dog
We discovered the cycle path along the Exe between Exmouth and Exton - what a great idea - walk the length of the estuary and jump on the train for the return journey. Elevated with great views across the water.
Great location for watersports but check tides first. Access god from Exmouth, not so good from Lympstone and not at all from Exton
I went on a boat trip up the estuary. The skipper was very informative and it was a lovely experirnce
We took a river cruise which lasted for over an hour with full commentary. Supplied with a hot drink, comfortable seating and marvellous views
Took a boat trip from the slipway. The day was misty but the commentory made up for it. Good for "birders"

We travelled on the short cruise in the morning and the birdwatching longer cruise in the afternoon, It was enjoyable especially the afternoon but maybe a rough script would be useful for deaf people like myself.
Beautiful and peaceful, so scenic travelling up river letting the world go by, there are plenty of organised trips available
