We found this place whilst on a rainy day out, so not our first choice of place to go, but we'll try anything once. The parking was free which was a good starter even though the car park is more off roading than car park with all the pot holes. The shop which is your first point of call has... More

Okay so it was quaint, interesting and the bees were excellent to watch, but after 45 minutes we had done the exhibit side of things and time for the kids to play. They spent an hour or so running around the play barn whilst we had a nice coffee. 2 hours for £22 entrance fee. We found this not good... More

This great indoor attraction gives you all the info on everything you need to know on bees and honey. You get to see a real close up of the bees and a fun kind of 'button pressing' displays. Great for the kids as there is also an indoor play arena, whilst the grown ups can sit and have a 'coffee',... More

Really interesting place. I found it fascinating and really nice. The tea room was a cool throwback- felt like it had not been decorated since 1973. This aside, I found the staff friendly and while not up there with the likes of Disney obviously, its a sweet day out.

As a beekeeper we popped in when passing - we knew the exhibition bit was closed so just visited the shop. Car park was pot holed and rough. Shop was untidy. Lady in shop seemed disinterested in us as customers but spoke enthusiastically to a couple of fellow workers. Told us they weren't really open. Honey tasting stand wasn't set... More

Really good soft play area. All very clean. Staff friendly and efficient. Bee museum possibly a little dated but still very interesting. A good afternoon out.

Lovely place for a birthday party. Probably more suited to younger children (under 9 or so). Very simple and relaxed. Particularly friendly and helpful staff. Kids loved it. Parents enjoyed a coffee.

Thank you for your review. I am glad you found your visit interesting. I have taken on board your criticism. The exhibition has been renovated this winter and some great new displays have been added. More
