Abbotsbury is a wonderful place and the Swannery is no exception and i'd recommend it to anyone with one exception....you need deep pockets. Nice setting, lovely swans and lots of fabulous sygnets. well set out with their nests in good locations and lost if information boards to read. Unfortunately overpriced admission everything there too expensive

What a delight to see the beautiful, newly hatched cygnets at the Swannery. This lovely, peaceful and calm sanctuary on the edge on Chesil Beach is well worth a visit. GO SOON while they are still tiny and fluffy. Buy a PASSPORT and visit the nearby "Tropical Gardens" as well.

A day out that you cant beat,it is perfect for couples and family,and you can buy a ticket for £1 if you also visit Abbotsbury tropical gardens the same day saving you alot of monet,Have been 3 times and will be returning again,top food in cafe as well mostly home made.

Abbotsbury Swannery is almost magical...at least it was the day we visited, even though, while sunny, it was VERY cold and EXTREMELY windy! We purchased the 3 in 1 ticked (farm, gardens and swannery) which was good value. Visiting the swannery alone is quite expensive. A short stroll, or ride on a tractor trailer brings you from the entrance, with toilets and children’s play area, to the willow maze and entrance to the swannery walk.
