Motherwell Heritage centre has never changed, never been done up and has been very poorly maintained. Not somewhere I would like visitors of my town to go to as I feel as much as it has a lot of information about the area past it doesn't do much for Motherwell's image
i suppose it is free for the kids but they get bored after half an hour
lovely modern building very well laid out inside.clean and very helpfull staff.interesting displays of local history pictures ,and local photography.several changes during year not boring if you return,something new to see each time
staff look bored as if you have spoiled their day by entering the building. The exhibition is very small not worth the building. The "archivist" seemed annoyed that I was using the facility a lot less pleasant than the staff at the Mitchell Library (perhaps because I am not a pensioner because her attitude was less abrupt to an older...
