My husband and I participated in a walking safari. We literally got put in a 4WD, driven to the top of a nearby mountain and then left with nothing more than a poorly detailed map with the verbal instructions of 'just follow the path'. The only issue was the 'path' actually deviated in a few directions and we ended up... More

Myself, auntie, uncle and 12 year old cousin came here for an afternoon while on a trip to the area. We did not do any of the tours but we took part in the gold panning and we fed the deer. We arrived in time for the 12.30 deer feeding activity, however as my cousin is in a wheelchair that... More

Enjoyed two trips this week to highland safaris - both excellent. Brilliant staff, friendly, informative and reasonably priced. There is a good selection of things to do for young and old, we fed the deer, did some gold panning and took one of the forest safaris - amazing views over the aberfeldy area and some good sightings of stag groups... Although the morning was misty and drizzly and we didn't get to see the magnificent views at their best we still had a fun and enjoyable time. Our two guides, Colin and Iomhar were very knowledgable about the area and both had a great sense of humour. Getting away off road was an experience in itself and a coffee and... More

Went along on Saturday 7th January as part of December birthday present. Had the deer encounter and then Land Rover safari with Colin our guide and driver. Whole trip was excellent, you even organised the weather for us, warm at your office and shop and beautiful and crisp with lots of snow and ice at bothy. Beautiful views over to... More

One of the reasons for booking this attraction was my wife wanted to see a white hare and in the advertising blurb this was one of the animals Highland Safaris suggested that we might see if we came on one of their outings. First of all we did the red deer experience where you get the chance to feed a... More

We had a lovely trip at the weekend with our families. Six of us fitted perfectly into the brand new and very comfortable Land Rover Discovery. Our guide was a fountain of knowledge and pointed out lots of interesting landmarks and wildlife. We had snow, rain and shine! The lunch in the bothy was good however inside the bothy was... More

My wife and i have just returned from Scotland after celebrating her 40th Birthday! This was the fifth time that we had returned to do Highland Safari and once again we were not disapointed. I had booked the 4 hour safari which included a picnic and a chance to try driving a 4x4 vehicle. From the moment we walked through... More
