Took parents here while we were on holiday in the area. The Gardens are really pretty with topiary and statues laid out formally in the grounds of the castle. Really peaceful place just to sit and relax and really reasonably priced to visit. Would thoroughly recommend if you love gardens.

Thank you for your kind words. I believe that you have captured exactly the spirit of the gardens at Drummond Castle. They are a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the tranquility. The gardens are complex but the overall aim is for simplicity in terms of spending some time in pleasant surroundings. Ray Biggs More

This is a lovely place to wander around. It's not big but it's only £5 to get in so that's ok. Beautifully manicured, the garden is geometrically laid out with a preponderance of box hedges. The white statues look brand new, in contrast to the nice old stone benches and arches. For those who like their gardens a bit wilder... More

Drummond Castle gardens are an outstanding example of a formal Italianate garden, with avenues, topiary, statues, formal partieres and great vistas. The castle and gardens are privately owned and have a fascinating history, having been involved in the Jacobite rebellions in the 18th century. The colours in the autumn are magnificent with brilliant hues from ornamental maples. After an approach... More

I took some friends there for the first time last summer and was totally amazed by these magnificent gardens. I had passed by every day for about 4 years before I ventrued up the drive. I had no expectations and was completely spellbound by the beauty of Drummond Gardens

Just amazing and totally unexpected. You drive in on an endless beech avenue. I have never been to a garden where you can look down on the whole design from above.

This garden is my favorite. I like a lot more than the gardens of Versaille. If you like reading historical novels or watching history based movies you will be charmed by this garden. I went with girl friends and we were like Alice in Wonderland, running around discovering all the incredible flowers and plants. The colors and condition of the... More
