Every hole has a water view. It is a simple design that is a fair test of your skills. It is a little out of way but well worth the drive.

You just have to play this course if you are in the area if you can put together the £110 green fees. The welcome was great and condition of the course fantastic! Look forward to playing this one again!

A weekend with wall to wall sunshine and two rounds on this ,the best course I know is over and I can only say" Thanks to the course staff, the organisers, and the friendly, industrious staff in the kitchen and the bar." The yellow of the broom was in full show and created a stunning environment to play golf on a course... More

Brilliantly designed course in a stunning setting. Not easy and very challenging. Elevated greens which were copied by one of Dornoch's famous sons, Donald Ross, who later applied the principles all over the USA especially at Pinehurst, NC, and the area around it. Best menu I've ever seen in a golf club. Having submitted a critical review of Ganton in... More

My husband and son in law love to play golf at the Royal Dornoch Golf Club and my daughter and myself like to eat at their resturant. The food is wonderful.

I enjoyed my third pilgrimage to Royal Dornoch Golf Club and can only say the course was in brilliant condition for October, a great time of year to organise a visit. It is hard to some up Dornoch but it is something very special and depending on conditions each round can be very different. The course is fair test of... More

My Dad, my brother and I travel to the highlands every September for a 5 day golf trip and normally play the Struie course at Royal Dornoch as part of this. However this year we decided we would play the Championship course and I am glad we did. Easily one of the best courses i have played with some challenging... More

After playing The Kings Course at Gleneagles last year and being dissapointed with the state of the fairways I wasn't sure what to expect at Royal Dornoch-I needn't have worried -the course could not have been better presented.Dornoch is a championship course and is set up like one-the fairways are immaculate but are very tightly mown which suits the better...
