We were really looking forward to our visit to the "Loch Ness Exhibition" and duly paid £13 = £6.50 x 2 adults. What we got for our money certainly was not worth it.What we got for our money was a 20 minute video spread over 4 darkened rooms which gave the the history of the sightings of Nessie - explaining... more

This was an informative exhibition surrounding the myths of Loch Ness. For the Length of time we were in there (about 45 mins) it was a bit expensive. It has shops where you can buy whisky and other highland memorabilia and an over priced restaurant/cafe which we didnt go to. more

I was a little confused that on arrival in Loch Ness. There are two exhibition centres, both claiming to be the official centre. However the tourist information centre did recommend this one. The experience consists of a number of short films with dated special effects to tell the story of the monster legend, however errs on the 'there is not... more

Visited this exhibition in July 09 (used premier inn online voucher 2 for 1) this made it reasonable, the normal £6.50 is a bit steep. We were a group of adults and it was quite informative. It only takes half an hour or so, then into the sales area to trap the tourists into buying the usual trappings. more

I was looking forward to this as the website looks great but was sadly disappointed with the quality of the exhibition in general. It would have been high tech about 10-15 years ago but looks rather dated now - it's just a series of audio/video presentations through a series of badly lit rooms which you have to sit through in... more

We visited the exhibition in July 2007 expecting it to be aimed at the children only ,however, we were pleasantly suprised that not only the children (aged 5,6,and 11) but the adults(ages withheld) were captivated by the themed rooms and videos explaining not only about Nessie but also how the Loch was formed, what is in the Loch and what scientific... more

Loch Ness 2000 is very informative, but I did not learn much that I didn't already know. you can tell that they tried very hard at "edutainment", but I did not find it worth 5 pounds. However I have heard from the locals that it is the best Nessie place to go to, so if you are near Loch Ness... more

Reading these reviews it is obvious that visitors are expecting one thing and getting another. The exhibition really tries to tell you what it is all about before you go in. If you enter it expecting monster, monster, monster or a Disney style extravaganzer you WILL be disappointed, but if you want to know about the story and how it... more

Go in knowing it's going to be a bit silly and you'll be fine. At the very beginning you are told quite seriously that "today you will be judge and jury" - a bit over the top. You are guided among rooms trying to wow you with technology, but the content was interesting and informative. more

The exhibition might have been "hi tech" as they call it many years ago but now it looks like clapped out old stuff from the 90s. Virtual zilch about the monster just some boring science stuff about things I couldn't remember and frankly were boring. Kids there were totally fed up. I stayed at their Drumnadrochit Hotel next door so... more
