Save yourself the money and go somewhere else - don't be fooled by the Visit Scotland 3 star rating, it should be at best a 1 star going by the their star rating description. The information is displayed confusingly on large panels with no interest for children, the film is probably the most informative piece but again boring for children... More

very little work put into this "attraction". looks like its been cobbled together to try and steal customers away from the loch ness exhibition along the road. the film was good and informative, if on a "nessie exists" pedrspective. wouldnt visdit it again.

Needs lots of TLC and if you read everything on the interpretation boards, you'd be there for days! The information we read was interesting but it could be much better displayed if there were more pictures and less text (there really is loads of it!!). Not one for children as apart from reading board which would be above their viewing... More

Its a pleasant enough experience with the displays and information about Nessie, which seem pretty impressive however with work tools around wires get the feeling they could have an health safety issue there, especially with kids. Perhaps maybe more walking space and more displays

Thank you for taking the time to write your review - I am pleased that you found the experience pleasant as we have over the winter being carrying out extensive renovations and it is good to hear that even in the midst of the work that you found it pleasant. We have been closed since October to carry out this... More

This is actually a very cute attraction, but it has been abandoned. It really should be refurbished and brought back to life, because I really wanted to go into it!

we visiting this nessie exhibition rather than the "official" one further round the corner as from the outside this looked more child friendly and the lady in the tourist info said it was a video which we appeal more to the children. When we entered we were so disapointed at the poor quality exhibition and the musty seating area where... More

This is a realy bad place to find information about Nessie. Its very old and over his time. A Hall with the famous photos you now, some interviews and a old film made in the 70 s or 80 s. Not a place to go.

Get to watch a short Dvd, and read a few posters (all saying the same thing as the dvd). We didn't learn anything new, and the kids were bored. Our children were to old to go in the play castle which is good because it looked like it was about to fall down!.

What a rip off. Waste of £20. Consisted of a short video plus various posters with nessie stories. But...best of all was access to the 'playground'. At £4 per child this is totally disgraceful. It's a converted bungalow with absolutely no play facilities with the exception of a tiny ball pool and some old crayons. The place was filthly and... More
