An amazing experience, definitely worth the money. Had two previous cancellations due to bad weather and sick pilot however the staff at loch lomond seaplanes bent over backwards to accommodate us. Had excellent weather the day of the flight and the scenery was out of this world. The pilot and the air crew staff were very pleasant and welcoming, putting... More

My husband bought a discovery flight for my birthday, we flew from Loch Lomond just outside Cameron House and took in other lochs in the area as well as flying around Arran and Bute which was spectacular. Flight lasted about an hour and we wish we had longer. If you're in the area and get the opportunity, do not hesitate... More

A friend and I were given seaplane vouchers by our wives last Christmas. Booking a date for the flight was a bit frustrating as the September schedules weren't released until the end of May but persistence paid off. As the day approached the weather forecast was variable so we did not get final confirmation that the flight was going ahead... More

I purchased a private seaplane outing and I have had it canceled 5 times now. No pilot, aircraft broken etc. Refund? No, they don't do refunds. There is nothing this company could do to make up for the terrible experience we have had. I wouldn't listen to a word anyone from this company says to defend it on here- simply... More

I bought my husband the "Private Seaplane Charter for two " at the cost of £599, for his Christmas Dec 2010, I phoned to book our date on January 2011 and was told this shouldn't be a problem but the usual weather permitting. We chose Saturday the 11th of June 2011 as this was our Anniversary. I hadn't heard a... More

Dear Mrs, You purchased online the “Private Seaplane Charter for Two” which is a competitively priced product as it is subject to availability as outlined in our terms and conditions. On reading your report I believe a specific date charter, although slightly more expensive, may have been the best product for you - it can only be bought by telephone... More

This seaplane company have created something that hasn't existed for more than half a century, the chance to fly off the Clyde and tour the highlands. For a seafaring nation to have almost no, zero, float plane operations is remarkable in itself and probably gives an insight into the hurdles that the UK beaurocracy throw in the way of adventurers... We were fortunate enough to fly on the most gorgeous Autumn day on a scenic trip from Loch Lomond. We were crossing our fingers the weather would hold out and it did. It was truly stunning and was a much appreciated birthday gift as I adore this part of the world. We were on one of the smaller seaplanes. You... More

Dear Sir, In order that our customers can make a proper decision on their purchase we provide in very, very clear terms, a great deal of upfront data on the effect of technical and weather cancellations on the seaplanes – however, as we don’t know everyone’s personal circumstances, for example, travel distances, at that point, we need to leave the... Loch Lomond Seaplanes – be very wary of this company – it seems to have a problem with its computer and lose your booking. We travelled from Hertfordshire to Scotland, stopping at Loch Lomond solely to experience this flight – bought as a special birthday present. We treated ourselves to a stay in a local Guest House, Darroch House, which... More
