The clubhouse and changing rooms are very good, however the course is dreadful. I played the Carrick golf course in mid-October '09 and the conditions were appalling. The fairways were shocking with black stagnant water leaking out of a lot of them and the greens were the bumpiest I've ever played on in over ten years playing golf. Avoid unless... more

Just visited The Carrick golf course at Loch Lomand for a group outing.The greens were terrible covered in sand and pretty unplayable.Although the location is wonderful and the fairways in pretty good nick for the time of year the only tees we were aloud to play was the whites which was to much of a challenge for most of our... more
